You can have a charity for anything.
All a charity is is a premade alliance with a goal to get 1 member to win.
   
Like kwiens18 said, you can have a silly reason but if you can guarantee yourself the win, who cares? 馃槀

I will say a flimsy charity reason does make it less reliable to bet on though...
