As you may already know (those who avidly keep up with my blogs) ... #tumbleweed ...
My sister has been using singlemuslim.com to find a guy.
And would you believe it, she has found a guy.
My sister is kinda racist.
She has a strong bias against Pakistani men.
...HOWEVER! The man she has fallen for...is a Pakistani man. LOOOOOOL
Now you'd think my Mum, a Pakistani woman, would agree with this.
But no. She does not.
Instead, she says, "Let's show his photo to my sister who communicates with a (imaginary) spirit and if the spiritual being says yes, then it's a yes."
And no, this being is NOT Allah. This spirit is, apparently, one of the first Muslims who guides my family onto the right path. O_O
My religion involves everyone having their own personal journey.
Their own struggles.
Your rewards/punishments are based on those choices you make.
Having a spirit telling you what to do kinda ruins that. :(
But yeah....
....My sister's future with a man she loves all depends on this "being".

That's a little bit crazy and unnecessary. I mean, if she really loves this man, no "spirit" has the right to tell her she can't be with him. :I
Yoshitomi i think you are referring to "ISTIKHARA" most people would not know about it, but all muslims know this...
Also i think in things such as love people usually do not do this. i don't know why it is being done. i can write a whole lot about it but ...let's just not go there...:)
