The new rookies is a quick game, not a take your time and use up all 6 hours game. I've seen it time and time again, people log on and then log off leaving people sitting there waiting. Well when that person comes back, it's usually them that gets the boot. I enjoy betting on these games and watching them play out so it's neither fun for me or the people playing them if you log off and make people wait forever while you take your sweet ass time. The same goes for jury members, if you made it that far then congrats but you need to stick around and do your duty and vote, it's not like you have to wait that long and if it's such a burden then you shouldn't have signed up for the game in the first place!
Thanks cubz for your first 6 and to everyone for plussing me on this! To those that disagree, I'm not trying to be mean but everyone should know by now that these new rookies games are quick games, they take maybe an hour or 2 at the most so it's unfair to the other players to have to sit and wait around while the other players go off and do other things. I mean if they have busy lives or school or work or whatever, then they can wait until another time to sign up for one of these new rookies games or sign up for a different kind of game all together. I'm just saying, it's not fair to the fast players, that's all.
Dream I agree... I like the old game better. The lag makes it hard and I like to get to know people I was just saying to know what you're getting into, that's all. But in the end I wish that we would have the choice of playing both versions.
On one hand we have a game that last 1 to 2 hours which is great IF everyone stays online and actually votes... I'm still waiting on bets by the way lol... no just kidding my guy finshed 3rd and I was pissed! Anyway there is a second point, the game moves so ultra fast that you have no time for pm's to build an alliance if you didn't already have one, to spam in open room, to win the pov, I mean multiple things here... I think that there should be a 5 minute break before we can do anything so that we would have time to talk in the chat and in pm and that would help us. It seems that at this point that we absolutely CAN NOT win without a premade of at least 6 or you're screwed but then again so are you're friends so if this game really worth it? I'm kind of leaning toward the NOT at this time... but only time will tell. I'm still watching and learning.
I entered the game with my friends and we got rid of a few rats. One of them got really mad that he got sent out 10th lol, pay back is hell I know but such sweet revenge. I ended up saying something in the open chat that I shouldn't have said and got myself banned for 3 days and my friend that was talking to me got banned for 7 days. Here's the kicker, I think it was the person that went out 10th that turned us in because he's a cry baby BUT my friend and I still managed to finish the game in the top 5 even while being banned HAHAHA!!! Now who has the last laugh lol. This should go down in history as the best rookies game ever played. Game ended and I got 2nd place and Cubz while still being banned got 1st place.
I don't know how many of you got an invitation for this stupid and lame game but I did and I joined thinking it would be fun. It talked about how there would be twists and we would have partners and we couldn't tell anyone our partners and all this crap. I thought it was going to be a cool game. Oh was I WRONG, on day 1, there were 3 evictions, immunity given to a strong player at the start and she obviously chose her friend to pass it off to when she was evicted and her friend was also a strong player. Well then we get the news that because this "random" dude opens pandoras box that this immunity holder is also now the perma HOH for the rest of the game and we're only on day 1. How freaking fair is that? I quit right after that, I know it was either rigged or being run by a 5 year old. Anyhow, I just had to VENT!!!!
Why do guys have to be so mean? I just had to blog about this, I couldn't help it and on top of that, I don't even know where to post it so since I'm in castings, I'll just post it there. This is my second go round with the same guy and I thought that things would change and for the most part they have but there is still that little bit of A-hole left in him that makes me want to smack his face just once for reality sake. He gets mad at me for playing this game but he watches stupid cartoons. We fight about the slightest things and I just don't get it. I know that there are a lot of gay men that play this game and I LOVE my gay men... you guys are my best friends so maybe you can give me some kind of insight on what the hell is going on. What is it that I'm just not getting or is he just an ass?
I can't believe that I'm even saying this. I've spent the last 2 years in college for nursing but this silly game that we take so seriously has made me second guess myself. As I get better and better with my designs, I'm starting to see things in a new light and I'm wondering if I can't put my artistic hands to work doing real fashion design. I know that the things that I've posted so far are so so or average but what I have in my mind, isn't something that I can even begin to create on this thing. I just thought that I had to get my thoughts out... sorry to go on and on, just my thoughts for the day.
