So, as you might know, I decided to give the new castings a shot.
I went in not knowing ANY of the other 19, or having heard of almost any of them.
I played a very quiet, but yet social game, I tried to be myself, a generally friendly, likable guy, so when the time came down to it, I would be safe for a nomination or two.
The first half of the game went by smoothly, but I hadn't gotten a key or an apple at all, which was a little bit frustrating.
At the final 10, I was nominated against 2 inactives and someone who I voted with the round previous. I was really worried that the inactives would manage to stay, and I'd be out of the game at 10th, which would have been rather disappointing.
I fought for my place, and the fact that I had talked to people, and they had a good impression about me made it easier for them to save me. I had 4 people (1 being another nominee) that they were voting to keep me in the game. My life in the game depended on them.
The vote came in, and the two inactives were voted out, however there was a tie for 2nd, and it COULD have been me!
After that, I managed to get a key, which helped me out TREMENDOUSLY. I had to vote out people who had helped me, only because they were the only people left to vote for.
I ended the game with 2 keys, 2 apples and about 1170 checks, which isn't too bad for, and I managed to place 2nd, which is a record for me.
Thank you to everyone in that castings, it was a pleasure playing with you. I rather enjoyed it. :)
Hopefully I can win one, one of these days.
Edit - If I HAD won, I would have had enough T$ to buy Light green! I'm SO close! :(
Well, I'm not much of a blogger, so I'm pretty excited to have made my 50th blog!
I'm hopefully signed up for the Stars Giveaway, and I would really love to be a part of Stars 71, but I wonder if I'm just so unknown that I could never get in!
I really would like a chance, but I'm not going to spam people, because that's not who I am.
Any support (if I make it into the grouping or whatever) would be really appreciated! :)
On another note - I'm in the final 6 of my Castings, which is pretty awesome. I'm hoping to make enough T$ in the next week or 2 to be able to buy Light Green or higher.
