Now, you all probably don't know me, so...
I've entered into an online singing competition - and this week I know I'm going to be in trouble. I've been insanely sick, no voice, throwing up...and so I couldn't really do too well.
It's like American Idol - it comes down to the votes. And I need you guys votes if at all possible!

I swear, no one else my age listens to anything like this, which is interesting, because they all seem to be obsessed with things like Lady GaGa (Not that I don't like her, don't get me wrong, I actually really enjoy listening to her) and other music like that.
Where did all the jazz lovers go? The real rhythm and blues people? The ones that listen to Aretha, Stevie Wonder and all them?
Funny how music changes over such a short period of time.
I guess I just have an older taste in music.
So, this is one of my FAVOURITE pieces of music of all time.
It's the "Waltz of the Flowers", from "The Nutcracker", and it's such a beautiful piece.
I wish I could play in an orchestra like that, however, the instruments that I play are not usually found in such an orchestra.
Maybe I should learn how to play the violin. Or the oboe. Or continue to pick up the clarinet.
So I was scheduled for a typical 5pm-1130pm shift at work. Had to train someone who was on their first day of work (was really impressed, a very good worker.)
I just got home now, though, from work.
I left an hour and a half late. 1AM.
goddamn people who want food that late! couldn't get anything done because the store was super busy all night. =[
