For 75 main seasons and 2 spin-off SNF seasons over 9 years, Suitman's Survivor has graced the forums of Tengaged. 146 people have played the Third Generation alone since July 2019, and this is continued with hundreds of players before that.
In that time I believe we have all but nearly used up and spat out many of the potential players from this website, but I don't believe I'm done yet.
It is though time for a change. An evolution. Next season - by means of at least an experiment - Suitman's Survivor is moving to the DISCORD platform.
Using connections outside of Tengaged, I HOPE to cast both Tengaged rookies and players native to Discord ORGs for a kind of 'bridged' season featuring players from multiple platforms, hosted solely on Discord, rather than within a Tengaged group.
I can't say this will be a straightforward. I can't say it will work. But after 75 seasons on Tengaged I'm willing to take at least a 1 season punt for a different kind of season. There is nothing to lose because - if it does not work - I can always return to format here on the Tengaged groups.
But if it goes well, future seasons will follow the trend, with Tengaged players from Seasons 1-10 still being eligible for future returns.
So if you are interested in potentially trying this new experimental season, let me know in mails! SUITMAN'S SURVIVOR: DECEPTION ISLAND - SECRETS AND LIES arrives in Late October 2020, taking place solely on Discord, a Skype alternative platform.
On Deception Island, NOTHING is as it seems. The truth is not clear. Trust is not guaranteed. And you never know what hidden surprises await around the corner. Which mask will the players wear to disguise their true intentions, in the pursuit of the title of Sole Survivor?
YoundAndReckless I getchu. And people will be apprehensive I get that. However, like I mentioned, this may not be permanent. If people don't like it and the season fails, then I'll always revert to formula. But after 9 years, I'm just for at least 1 season going down a different route and seeing what happens. Tbh, those that like Skype would probably not mind Discord.
