Finally after two nights in the hospital (standard practice, nothing wrong) we were able to bring Victoria home today. Jeremiah isn't quite sure how he likes this change of events yet. I dont think a 2 year old can really ever understand what you mean when you say we are bringing a sister home. I can tell he loves her though, but he just has to adjust to having a crying baby around the house.
My little Princess Victoria (aka Tori)
She was born 9/3/2010 at 7:58 PM Pacific Standard Time.
She weighed 9 pounds 12 ounces and is 22" long (poor momma).
We went in yesterday to induce labor at 8:30 in the morning and for most of the day just watch the contractions get stronger and more painful. Finally at around 5 PM my wife (Tamatha) asked for the all powerful Epideral to releave some of her pain. As the anesthegiolgist (spelling?) was preparing her tools to do the epideral Tamatha's water broke, it is unbelievable how much water comes out btw. So, now we know we are on our way to delivery and my wife gets the epideral. The doctor comes in and says that Tamatha is dialated to 6 cm and has about an hour to go before she can start pushing. 10 minutes later Victorias heart rate begins to decrease so the doctor checks again and says it is time to start pushing.
Victoria wanted to come out face first (just like her brother) so the doctor had to use suction to help pull her out so she has a little suction ring on her head. I call it my angel's halo.
Tamatha was a trooper throughout the entire thing. I don't know a man on the planet that could go through the pain of childbirth and not complain about it for the rest of his life. I am so proud of Tamatha.

Everyone should vote to save Dinom. Nothing against Etinne but I feel that Dino has worked harder in this game than Et. Not sayin Et hasnt worked hard. This game was the first time i've met either of them and they are both good guys. I support Dino because I worked more closely with him than I did with Et. Plus our vote was so close he earned my respect. Please don't vote to evict Etienne but vote to save Dinom.
It is now late Wednesday night and still no baby. If my wife doesn't go into labor tonight or tomorrow we will be going in to induce labor on Friday. The time is finally almost here. I can now see the pain and discomfort visibly on my wifes face. I know the contractions have been getting progessivly worse. My son loves to help his mommy though. He is only 2 so his "help" only goes so far lol. But it is so cute to watch him drag whatever his mom needs to her and letting his dog outside. He is really looking forward to being a big brother and loves talking to his little sister through his mommy's tummy. This morning he actually laid his head on her tummy and shouted "Sissy out, now!"
