Ginny said an emotional goodbye to Harry and her family and left, Ginny's eviction shook up the house a bit and will have a lasting effect. Draco Malfoy has won the HoH competition and is now the brand new head of household.
Draco is very worried about what to do next. He could stick with his Death Eater alliance or there is the prospect of backdooring Lord Voldemort but Draco knows he'll be kept around longer with Lord Voldemort than for example Harry. However, he does not want him and Pansy to be bullied for the rest of the game. Him and Pansy come to the decision that if the POV is used, they will attempt to backdoor Lord Voldemort.

This does not shock anybody. James and Sirius with Harry luck and say they'll try and win the veto for him.
Dolores Umbridge has won the veto and decides not to use it as it would look hugely suspicious considering her history involving Harry & Hermione.
