My apartment lease expires

next month but I haven't been there since March except the occasional check-ins because of covid-19, I moved back home temporarily.  Now idk if I should renew my lease because it's so unpredictable how long this shit is gonna last and I am not wasting 1500 dollars a month for a place i'm not staying at

I'm going through the same issue rn. If you live close to your school, you could live at home. I decided to stay home for the first semester and drive to school every day, and then get a lease my second semester so I wouldn't have to pay rent every month.
