asking somebody for their phone number like we got a new temp co worker and he's leaving next month but we vibe really well at work and always clowning around and idk maybe he wouldnt wanna be friends outside of work? but i dont want to straight up ask him because then i'd feel bad about myself if he didnt wanna be friends outside of work. should i just do it and cry in the bathroom if he says no? or just be like well he was only here 4 months if he wanted to talk to you outside of work he would have already told you. i dont take rejection well whether it be friends, relationships, banned from the local all you can eat buffet cuz i ate too much of their food.
If he does like you he will be super excited if you ask him. Wouldn't that be great? If he rejects you it wasn't meant to be anyway, and at least you were true to yourself. The only way to get over rejection is to be rejected. Wouldn't you like to be free of that fear in the future? Practice makes perfect! This is a great opportunity for you. I'm happy for you.
