So, I'm sure that, by now, all of you have read that Castings is now offering challenges! Although I know it had nothing to do with my previous blogs on Castings, I do have to say that I'm really excited about this change and look forward to being able to play one.
What does this mean for you, as a casting player? There are 3 major shifts that established players will need to adjust to...
1) Skill matters. You might want to start brushing up on word games, optimal strategy in Deal or No Deal and various number games. The more practice you can get, the better.
2) You can no longer expect to survive on activity level alone. Spamming will still help with getting a percentage bonus, but raw skill will still be required to ensure survival.
3) The challenges add, in a sense, a certain level of predictability in the sense that you can control your own future more than ever before. They also add, in a sense, a certain level of unpredictability in the sense that you don't know how well your alliance mates will do. Encourage your friends to practice online!
