It is almost time for the jury to officially cast their votes.

Before they do, however… Josh and Saturn are going to give one final speech stating why they believe they deserve to win this game.

Josh, you’re up first.

Josh: From the minute I was invited back to this game, I knew I would do whatever it took to make it to this very moment. Not only was I able to do so, but I managed to play a completely honest game, be the only person in the cast to not face an eviction vote, and still win 3 competitions. I knew coming in that I wasn’t going to act out of character or do things I felt uncomfortable doing, so I stuck to my core beliefs and values and talked and treated everyone the way I hoped to be talked to and be treated. I think being likeable and trying to be as honest and genuine as possible is crucial to winning Big Brother, and I tried my absolute best to accomplish that. I surrounded myself with powerful allies after I lost my immunity after the first eviction, and purposefully didn’t win comps in order to keep my cards close to my chest as I maintained good relations will the entire cast, as winning an HOH and nominating people I was maintaining relationships with would have done more harm for my game than good. I don’t think there’s a single person who can say that they genuinely don’t like me as a person, and I hope that reflects my character as a human being and my intentional strategy of being real with everyone I had conversations with. After intentionally throwing and missing competitions that would require me to nominate individuals that would have hurt my game, I gave the F4 HOH my all and won my first competition. This win not only gave me a physical win, but also allowed me to set myself up for this moment, even though I had confirmation from every other player in the game that I was at least their F3, if not F2. I genuinely believe that both Saturn or Jay would have taken me to the end, not only because I was being underestimated and my gameplay was being ignored, but also because of the genuine interpersonal relationships I had developed with both of them throughout the season. I didn’t have to swear (and lie) on my dead father’s ashes to get people to believe my arguments, I just spoke to them and managed to convince people to do the things I needed them to do from the moment I was brought back into this house. I had 3 POVs used on me, including the DPOV without having to take punishments or force myself into an uncomfortable position, I never faced a single eviction vote the entire season, I managed to convince others to make big moves without getting a drop of blood on my own hands, and I managed to win the final HOH and take out the biggest threat to my own game, all while being truthful, honest, and genuine. While my gameplay wasn’t as flashy or as bold as Saturn’s, I was slowly making preparations for my fight to the final 2. I was able to use my social skills to encourage, influence, and inform others of what the best move would be (for my own game of course) while managing to never talk bad about a single player or person in this game. I’ve given everything I can in this game, and I’m completely satisfied with the way I played this season, and I hope that I’ve done enough to show and tell you all just how much I’ve actually worked to get to this moment. I won’t be losing any sleep over the decisions I’ve made, and I personally believe that playing an honest game is way more difficult than lying to get as far. I’ve stayed true to who I am and what I believe is right, and I’m okay if that doesn’t get me the win, but I honestly think that I’ve played a really good game that I’m very proud of. I want to thank the people that have used their advantages and powers to get me to this moment, as I couldn’t have done it without you. I came into this game with love, I played this game with love, and I’m leaving this game with love. Thank you for every call, every conversation, and every chance I was given in this game, it has been an absolute blast. Thank you.

Saturn: JURY, I believe that the tears that I’ve  wept, the blood that I’ve bled, and the battles that I’ve fought speak for themselves. I always had to constantly reinvent myself this game. I had multiple different strategies that were NOT just being nice to people. I did rely on comp wins at the end, but I pulled through. I was the underdog going into the end, I completely fought for MYSELF this game. Reward the work that I’ve put into this game, reward the person who has had to do MORE to get here. Don’t let all of the heartbreak, stress, and complete exhaustion be for nothing.
