When I joined TG six years ago, I honestly never expected to be making a stars final blog, but here I am.
This has been my 2nd stars, over 1.5 years after my first attempt where I came in 4th and was pretty much a sheep the entire game. I honestly only joined this week because of how low enrollment went, but like everything in life, my aim is always to improve. I got myself into a solid alliance right off the bat, but the majority of those people (and this cast) had never played stars before. People were asking me questions looking to understand what some stars terminology, and very quickly people pinned me as someone who was a threat to target.
All but three of my full nomsets went through, and never did I not cast a vote for at least one of the people who went into the pollbox. I know re-nomming is less than ideal for stars, but I played the game the best way I knew how - self preservation. My name was thrown out almost every round as someone who needed to be a target because of my relationships with this cast, yet I only went up as a nominee once.
Am I the most dynamic gamer on the planet? Not even close. Am I an expert on how to play stars? Absolutely not? Did achieve what I set out to do? Abso-fucking-lutely.
Regardless of how this final poll turns out, I'm proud of the game I played, but I'd love to win after putting in this much work for a week of absolute hell!
I wanna say thank you OldNewzaiwfwyattrohbryjow123 for being my tightest alliance. From Day 1 we killed it and I wish we all could've made the Final 4 together.
