in half my classes the grade you get on your finals is put into the "test" category and isnt worth like 10 or 15% or whatever it is
whats the point of having a final if it is just counted as a regular test? like im trying to get grades up and that doesnt help lol
Knowledge and Skills (tests, quizzes, and essays) which is 60% of our grade
Effort (Homework assignments and in class work) which is 25%
Final Exam which is 15%

I think it's fair enough that they grade the work that you're doing. Most of my effort assignments are one point and as long as you do the work and do a good job you get a good grade. The problem is the teachers who try to judge how much effort you put in. Only I know how much effort I put in. Just because it looks like I didn't write an essay on my homework assignment doesn't mean I didn't spent 30 minutes working my ass off on the assignment Memphis_grizzlies
