This is one of those "hardcore staged" seasons; sort of like Ghost Island, but you can tell Survivor now is scripted (and i understand yall are gonna say it's always been) but its worst, an example is Reem being voted out, going to edge of extinction and before she even gets to Island, she's like "What do I have to go thru to get a second chance" and coincidentally..it's 'edge of extinction' where she basically has to survive on her own.
Where an older season, any normal person's reaction would just be shocked and grateful for a second chance, walking to the Island not knowing anything, could be a competition to get back, could be redemption, you don't know.... #survivor

I really don鈥檛 think it鈥檚 scripted. HOWEVER...I鈥檓 really curious if contestants like Ben found so many idols on their own merits, or if they were production favs, and were led in the right direction.
