Should i buy an iPhone 8+ or X?

I have enough money to buy the 8+ as soon as tomorrow. If I get the X I'll need to wait at least 2 more weeks / 2 more paychecks.

I need a better phone asap but I worry that I'm just gonna buy the 8+ and it'll start being slow soon because Apple
