Hey! I've been counting down my top songs of the year for the past 4-5 years (credit to IAmPaxton for inspiring me to begin the trend many years ago) -- others like Aquamarine have become notorious on this site for their end of the year countdown. Albeit not notorious, I still like keeping a record of my favourite songs of the year as many remind me of a specific time period of the past year, a certain event, or just a generally good song that stuck with me for the course of the year.
