Hello Tengaged, It is very apparent going into the game there was a child alliance + bryce. I was the one running the alliance. If someone was in danger in the alliance, I deflected the attention onto someone else. When it came to outside connections I was the one being on top of those votes and secured them for weeks on top of weeks.
I understand why you would see my gameplay as flawed but I worked every aspect of the game. NONE of these sets would've went through if I didn't work as hard as I did to pull specific people in to ensure I had the numbers.
Out of the options to vote to win, I am a good contender considering the amount of work I put in is nearly more than anyone who played in the game.
I did not join the game with the number of votes locked. It took 9 sets to even get close to having all the votes. A small alliance cannot control the game off the bat. I am a single person and I dictated the whole game single handedly.
I pulled off many blindsides against very good players such as cherita/chase and chris/chase. Nearly every single person who went up voted with me at one point but then when they least expected it, the game flipped on them which led to many people leaving the game unhappy with me.
I am up against SpaceBryce and Joee323 . They are both very kind people so I do not mind however this poll ends up going. This was a stressful week and I wouldn't give up the experience for much. Good luck you both!
All of your early sets were very solid. They were all popular and needed to go for your alliance to have any chance in the game. Renomming in the beginning was solid. But then the public turned due to the flavoring. It's frustrating doing all the work throughout the week, strategizing and playing your ass off, no matter how it takes to get your sets through and to stay off the block, but people instead criticize your game, call it flawed and stupid, and to reward the person who had no agency in the game. The flavor game is a tricky one and the public usually turns against you, especially with a flavor as strong as Joee. So who wins? The person who controlled the game, the sets, the outcome- or the person the public repeatedly saved from going home and being sent back in? Both reasons are valid imo to vote for. Even though people may not have liked your methods, you played a good game. GL.
I think you played an excellent ‘leader’ game, but you also chose the winner. Not renomming the same person all the time is a bitter strategy as it slows their momentum and keep the winner still open, even if you have to backstab more people - that’s how you win.
