of somehow driving away my closest friends, both irl and online. Like every so often things just become distant and I don’t know why. It’s like never on bad terms about something (at least to my knowledge) but it’s like my friends just drift away from me until we just don’t talk anymore, regardless of what I do.
This isn’t even about anyone in particular, it’s just something I’ve been reflecting on recently.
I think that's actually a pretty typical experience for people to slowly drift apart, with no dramatic ending or terms of any, just people grow away just as much as they grow together. It's sad, thinking about the great people whom have slipped away, while not as great people take their place as your friend over time.
But sometimes, all it takes is for one side to reach out to the other to reignite that, depending on the circumstances.
