IN THE CHURCH :
Melissa sits on the corner of a dark room, still covered in Candice's blood, tears streaming down her face, her heavy breathing and crying, overpowering the loud noises of the walkers right outside. "This can't be happening... No... No. No. No."
IN THE MAIN CHURCH AREA :
Kylar looks around, as Brandon sneaks up on him. "BOO!"
Kylar jumps "Holy shit... Why'd you do that?"
Brandon laughs "Because, you seem like an easy scare. How have you even survived this long?"
"Staying in the middle. It's all strategy." Kylar says.
"This isn't survivor."
"But, it kinda is... If I float to the end it is."
"Well, Jesus be with you." Brandon says leaving Kylar alone, looking around.
Leif, who is standing by Kylar, walks into a room looking for Emmaleigh.
"I need to make sure she's safe..." He mumbles, looking around, slightly angered. "EMMALEIGH?!"
IN A DIFFERENT PART OF THE CHURCH :
Emmaleigh walks into a room, breathing heavily. "ALEX?!?!!" She cries, lying on her back, on the ground, sweating. "My baby is coming!!!!" She cries.
IN DEADWOOD :
Jade says "I love it here."
"That's why it's suspicious. It's too perfect." Ashlea says.
"Or you're being paranoid." Anthony says.
"He's right. We are fine here." Jason says.
"I love it!" Layla cheers.
Ashlea puckers her lips and walks out. "I'm finding out what's wrong."
IN THE CHURCH LOBBY :
Izzie is dragged downstairs by Martin to examine a bite victim "Oh my God, what happened?!"
On the table Jai is on the table with a bite on his leg.
"I was... Going outside for resources. A crawler crawled to me..." He shivers and stutters "He got to me..."
Izzie hyperventilates "I don't know what to do..."
Martin cries "You have to help!"
Jaden hugs Martin, and they cry.
"I don't know... I don't know. I wasn't meant to lead... Um..." Izzie cries. "Can we amputate?"
Cristina says "If we do... It's now or never."
IN THE CHURCH LOBBY :
Dawn looks for Karen "Ugh..."
Zombies break down the door again "AHHHH!" She runs towards a door "Shit!"
Kylar runs up the stairs, as everyone starts to panick.
Dawn slams a door to the second lobby and looks around "Shit... KARENN!" She runs down the corridor towards her room as she hears a scream. "KAREN?" She grabs the doorknob. "She has to be in here...." She turns the doorknob, and slowly opens it. "KAREN?!" She walks in "Huh..." She looks around, and turns the light switch on. It is seemingly empty and it looks as if it hasn't been touched since morning. She turns around and a zombie grabs her "AHHHH!" He pins her down on her bed and she barely is keeping him away from biting her neck. "AHHHHHHH!"
DOWN THE CORRIDOR :
Karen enters the hallway and hears the screams "DAWN?!" She starts running down the hallway.
IN THE ROOM :
Dawn pushes the zombie off and crawls away "HELLLP!" The zombie grabs her ankle, pulls her off the bed and bites her neck. "AHHHH!"
Karen runs in and shoots the zombie in the head. "DAWN?!" She runs up to her and notices the bite, and is speechless.
Dawn groans "Shoott.... Me..."
Karen cries "No... It's too soon. We have to do this together... I can't go through alone..."
Dawn cries "Then don't." Dawn raises her gun, shoots Karen in the head, then herself.
IN THE CHURCH LOBBY :
Wendy and Kylar hide in a room together.
"Who are you?" Kylar asks.
"Wendy Mayweather. I basically just survive. Conversation isn't my strong suit."
"Same. I hate everybody." Kylar says.
"Same." Wendy says, her gun pointed at the ceiling, her ear pushed against the wall. "I hear them. They're everywhere."
IN THE CHURCH OFFICE ROOM :
Father John is pacing back and forth with Grace, Sage and Martha.
Father John says "It's been really tough for this church... But... We can do this. We can keep... Our faith, our minds, our... Our Jesusism."
"I've seen this before with my orphanage. This is the final process of overrunning. We have to flee. We have to stick together and flee." Grace says, strictly.
"Or we can stay here and pray." Martha says.
"I like her idea better." Father John says. "You need to work on your ideas Grace."
Sage reloads her gun and says "I'm tired of praying." And she walks out, and slams the door.
"NO!" Father John yells.
Sage shoots at the zombies "COME GET ME BITCHESSS!"
Grace walks out with her pistol out "GET ME TOO!" She shuts the door and starts shooting at the zombies.
They start walking up the stairs as they shoot at endless counts of zombies.
IN THE BASEMENT :
As Cristina amputates Jai, Leanna pulls Izzie aside and starts crying.
"I don't know if-if I can do this..." Leanna cries.
Izzie asks "What?!"
"He's a gunman. Jaden is... His job requires... Risk... Everyday... He risks his life... For you. For them... For me... I don't want to lose him. It's like... My life has been. FULFILLED. by him. It's been filled with him. I don't think I can handle... Losing him."
"You won't have to lose him." Izzie cries.
"If you believe that... I pity you." Leanna cries running up the stairs. She opens the door and zombies fly at her. "AHHHH!"
Cristina screams "GO THE BACK WAY!"
Leanna cries "AHHHHHHH!" She runs down the stairs, as everyone else abandons her and Jai. She looks at Jai's body quickly, and runs out the back entrance of the basement.
IN A CHURCH ROOM :
Emmaleigh shrieks "IZZIEEE! CRISTINA!!!! RICHARD!!!! MIRANDA!!!!! GRACE! ANYBODYYYY!" Her voice breaks. "shit!"
Leif enters the room. "Oh my God... You're having the baby!"
Alex walks in too. "Oh shit."
Leif asks "Where did you come from?"
Alex says "Who cares. We have to help Emmaleigh!"
IN DEADWOOD :
Ashlea enters a room and walks up to the mayor's desk "Now, that you've questioned us... Can I question you?"
The Mayor's desk name tag reads : MAYOR ARIA LOVE
Aria has long blonde hair, tan skin, brown eyes and is very tall, even when she's sitting she seems slightly intimidating. "Our town is very safe." She has a slight accent that sounds German. "Why would you want to risk getting thrown out?"
Ashlea says "No... I don't."
"Then I would accept your limits. Bye now."
Ashlea says "But..."
"I said bye." She says it calmly, but Ashlea still feels the threatening manor of her voice.
Ashlea says "okay..." And quickly walks out.
IN THE CHURCH BASEMENT :
Leanna looks through the exit door and notices Jai getting devoured "Oh my God!" She cries, running away from the door. The exit wasn't a real exit, but was a path to a bigger basement. "Shit." She looks around and notices that they already fled. "No." She runs into a closet when she hears the exit door swing open.
Leanna covers her own mouth, and tears stream down her face, as she watches a parade of zombies walk by. She tries to stay silent, and she prays she'll get to see Jaden, at least one more time.
OUTSIDE THE CHURCH :
Cristina slams the door shut and sits down against it "I've never been so happy to leave church in my life. And I'm an Atheist with a Catholic grandmother."
"I have to go back in." Jaden says.
"No." Martin cries. "I can't lose my two best friends today!"
Carter says "I'll go."
Cristina scoffs "No one is going ANYWHERE! It is suicide."
Izzie says "I'm sorry. I love Leanna and know how much she means to you... And I have cut wires to save people I love but.... This is ridiculously stupid. Nothing is good or loving about suicide."
Jaden cries "But, I love her."
"I know you do." Izzie says, holding her breath. "But, she loves you, too. If she loses you... Because of her. She would kill herself. She's tried before. Do you want her to be successful this time?"
Jaden cries sitting down. "No."
Martin sits next to him.
IN THE CHURCH LOBBY :
Mark shoots all the zombies surrounding him with a machine, and walks down stairs, shooting zombies as he goes down. "I'm a God..." A zombie grabs him from behind and he smashes his head with his fist, shooting the many that stand behind him. He reloads his gun and notices the basement is empty "Huh." He notices on the table, is nothing but the barely recognizable body of Jai, the meat almost all taken off his body "Ew." He shoots it's head off. "Incase." He gets to the exit and notices zombies parading at the closet in the next room. "STOP!"
All the zombies stop and turn towards him "Praise Jesus!" He starts shooting at them and luring them away from the closet. "Bad idea, Mark. VERY BAD IDEA!"
When the zombies walk away, Leanna sneaks out and mouths "Thank You... SO MUCH!" At Mark, and he smiles at her and nods.
Leanna runs towards the real exit and knocks on the exit door.
Cristina shrieks "AH!" And turns around. "Oh my God!"
Jaden's eyes widen and he opens the exit door, kissing Leanna.
Izzie smiles and hugs Leanna "Thank god..."
IN THE CHURCH LOBBY :
Grace, Sage and Mark are all back to back, shooting all the zombies they can.
Grace is grabbed by one and tackled down "AHHHH!"
Sage shoots it in the head "THANK ME LATER, GIRL!" And they all go back to shooting zombies.
Kylar and Wendy start helping.
"There can't be many more!" Kylar exclaims.
"Yes there can!" Wendy contradicts pointing at the truck dropping off more zombies.
"What... The..." Kylar mumbles, as Father John grabs him.
Father John says "We are burning down this church. Get everyone out.
IN A ROOM :
Emmaleigh holds her newborn baby. "I'm naming him... Gabe."
Alex gags "Ew. Alex Junior."
"No. Gabe." Leif demands.
Father John walks in "WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE. WE ARE BURNING THE CHURCH DOWN!"
Emmaleigh quickly leaves, running down the stairs, holding Gabe.
"HURRY!" Grace yells.
Leif stares at Alex angered.
IN A SEPARATE ROOM :
Isabella packs her bags.
Melissa enters the room "You are a psychopath."
Isabella quickly gets a pistol out and aims it at Melissa's head "I have no emotions anymore. You ripped them away from me. Like you did my brother."
"You're insane!"
"How? I shot Candice in self defense. She killed my brother. It was revenge."
"There's a different between safety and murder."
"You have to do things for the good of the group!" Isabella responds.
"Not murder." Melissa cries with her hands up.
"No... Not always." Isabella shoots Melissa in the gut and walks out. "This isn't murder. This is giving you a chance." She walks out.
Melissa holds her wound and notices gasoline being poured on the church floor "Shit." She runs out the backdoor and ducks down as the church starts to catch fire.
THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CHURCH :
The group takes a few steps back as they watch the church burn down.
"Their goes another home." Leif says as it burns down.
They all walk away.
TRAILER FOR SEASON 5B :
Melissa runs away from a horde of zombies, as she holds her wound, she falls to the ground. "AGH!"
"Something bad is going on in this town. Something... Not right." Ashlea says.
"Have faith!" Jade says, walking away.
"Deadwood is a community for all. I'm appalled you'd say you don't trust it." Aria says. "Get out of my office."
"I love you!" Leif yells.
"I need to choose who's right for Gabe." Emmaleigh cries.
"I know it won't last forever. But, I feel right with Jaden." Leanna says happily to Izzie.
Izzie says "You need to keep hope. If you lose hope... You'll lose him."
Carter falls on his face and looks around "Shit." He starts to crawl away.
Sage shoots someone.
Grace kicks a zombie down and runs away.
"Maybe we have a chance..." Martha says.
"When anyone thinks we have a chance... Is when the bad stuff starts to happen." Father Johm says, getting a pistol out of his belt.
BANG. BANG. BANG.
"AHHHHHHHH!" Brandon cries.

Thoughts on the mid-season finale? - OMG that was a lot more intense than I expected
Will season 5B be better than 5A? - I hope so! This finale was pretty good though
