Noob Lessons from Rookies

imageLesson #1: Don't Take It To Heart

I can see now that Rookies is a *very* different game from Casting. I flamed out 10th on my 1st game (ugh), and now I'm learning some lessons on my 2nd.

To avoid heartache, I guess one should think that everything that's said and done in the game is *part* of the game. And that we are playing a role when we're in the game. I feel this would lessen fights and accusations about one's true personality.

Of course, one can never competely separate your personality from the persona your playing in a particular game. Still, you can't judge someone solely from the games they played.

Know what? I would really love it if there was like an aftergame chat we can go to and see how we did well and how we didnt. It would be a forum where we can relax outside of the game we just played and say "Whoa that was a cool move you made on Day 2" or "What you said on Day 6 caused you the game" or whatever and laugh and drink to it.
