I think Derrick trumps Vanessa in a lot of ways but the main reason is that Derrick brought two people to f3 that would take him to the end where as Vanessa only brought one. Also Derrick did a better job at hiding the fact that he was playing a great game. #Kaseyhope101

Well we also have to remember.
The BB17 cast had a lot of SMART people like :
Becky
Steve
Liz (kinda)
Hardly John but he saw through Van too.
Derrick had no self aware people to compete with.
And if they did, they got out pre-jury.
So Vanessa actually had to work.
And idk who else would take her to the end.
Me personally I never take the cast into consideration because it is comparing hypothetical scenarios. We have no idea how Derrick would do in Vanessa's season and vice versa. Vanessa could of done exactly what Derrick did if she fixed two parts of her game. 1. Controlled her emotions and avoided the many blow ups she had in the house as it drawed attention to her and people connected the fact that the people Vanessa fought with went home therefor giving away her game, and 2. finding two ride or die people who her main loyalties were too that didn't have loyalties to other people and taking them to f3.
