So I read your blog like you asked and here are my opinions.
First off as far as twist goes I feel like each season should only have one main twist and maybe one more small one that is like a secret power or just effects a week or two of the game. Also the main twist shouldn't change the game so no MVP, no Golden Key, and no Battle of the Block because all those sucked. Instead go back to the old way like secret duo's, family members who had no clue they were related, throwing in a few peoples rivals, and things like that. Now as far as this season of Big Brother Canada's twist go.
All of the twist that didn't allow the houseguest anytime to campaign to stay are dumb. That is what makes great players is their ability to convince others to not go up on the block or to not be evicted. So many players went home this season due to that and here is the exact amount of people who did. Risha, Naehea, Kevin, Willow, Bruno, Pilar. The twist that did this included Instant Eviction, Double Eviction, Triple Eviction, and the special power.
Triple Eviction: Was completely lame it should of been done like this. Eviction, HOH, Veto, Eviction, HOH, Veto, Eviction. One HOH being able to evict two people and nominate three and what was potential four with the veto is way to much power.
Special Power: I think everyone should get to play for this and Canada shouldn't get to vote. This makes the game fair also the viewers like underdogs and they aren't necessarily the best players.
Canada POV Twist: yea I agree with you this was pretty much a waist. They should of just did a double veto that week and some sort of special comp or something to get it.
Houseguest Returnee: This was okay but it was clearly rigged for the fan favorites Naeha or Sindy to win. I believe if they do any return comps is should be a simple battle of will. For instance who can hold this button the longest it is a fair playing field and will show just who wants it the most.
The Buzzer: Was dumb no one is going to take that deal unless they know they are going home that week.
Jury Eviction: Wasn't really fair in my opinion because Jury is a big deal and I know if I was a player I would be honored to get to vote for a winner and crushed to have that taking away from me however it made good drama.
Overall Season: I think they had possible legends in that cast like Kevin, Naehea, and maybe even JP if he wouldn't of been so obsessed with Zach but unfortunately the twist messed all that up. Also I still think Godfrey should of won as I still have no clue what Sarah actually did in that game besides the fact that everyone liked her. I don't see how she impacted the game any and if this was a popularity contest it would be called BB UK.
