Okay so one of the age old debates of Big Brother is who is the greatest player of all time Dr. Will or Dan. Some will argue that Derrick should be in this conversation as well and while he arguably played a flawless game Big Brother is still a reality TELEVISION show so entertainment plays a factor when it comes to being the greatest of all time and that is where he fails.
So now lets compare the two.
Will was on two seasons where he won his first one and came in forth on his second season. Dan was on two seasons where he won his first one and came in seconds on his second season.
So with that many people think that Dan is better than Will but this is for from the truth.
Dr. Will purposely threw every single competition and never won and HOH or POV. He was also never saved by a POV. This mean Dr. Will set on the block on eviction six times and was only evicted once. In his first season the whole house was against him yet in the end he somehow managed to convince the jury of mostly people who disliked him that he should win. Then he came back in allstars as the only winner against all returning houseguest. He made it to f4 but most likely would have won if he was sitting in f2. However he has said many times that he wanted Mike to win that season and that was his goal from the beginning which he did still achieve. So if this is actually true then in a way Dr. Will did exactly what he was trying to do both times he played the game.
Dan while he is an amazing player and definitely the second greatest of all time only set on the block and faced eviction twice as he won the power of veto 3 times. He also played mainly newbies his second time around and was safe by immunity for the first few evictions. Also he made it to the finals but did not get the jury votes to win which is something Will wouldn't have done if he would have made f2 in his second season. Finally to sum it all up Will was the first amazing player in Big Brother and most likely saved the show from being cancelled in season 2. If there had never been a Dr. Will Big Brother might not be on today and there may have never been Dan and his mist.
