is why people resort to referring to irrelevant personal information during arguments, especially online arguments. If John and Mary are fighting about popcorn (random example) then why are John's IQ, Mary's abortion, John's age, Mary's grammar, John's job, or Mary's boyfriend relevant at all? Those things have nothing to do with "popcorn" and shouldn't be brought into the argument. It's honestly pathetic, immature, and a sign of defeat.
