JJ woke up to a scream from inside his house. He looked over to Brooke who he had let stay with him and saw she had awakened from the screaming too. JJ rushed over out of his door and ran down the stairs into the living room where Daniel had been sleeping. However, JJ could see that Daniel was in a state of panic as he sweated profusely.
JJ: Oh for crying out loud, not on my couch!
Daniel: Huh? What happened? Where am I?
JJ: Well, you’re not in outer space anymore, I can tell you that much.
This was when Daniel finally recognized JJ. His facial expressions kept his initial shock, but it was mixed with something JJ found to be odd: relief. Daniel got up out of the couch and ran over to JJ, embracing him in a hug as he cried. JJ felt a sensation of surprise and awkwardness for having been caught off-guard. In an awkward pace, he returned Daniel’s hug.
Daniel: You don’t know how glad I am that you’re okay!
JJ: There there! We don’t know how to control our gifts. Just be glad someone was there to save us.
Brooke: He is right you know.
Daniel and JJ broke up their hug to see Brooke standing before them.
Daniel: We were looking for you!
Brooke: I know. JJ and Beckett told me at Vixella’s.
Daniel: Who?
JJ: It’s a long story. We’ll explain it in its entirety later. Let’s just relax and take it easy.
Brooke disappears to go change out of her bed clothes as JJ got the coffee started, only for JJ to hear Brooke curse loudly.
Brooke: Fuck fuck FUCK!!!
JJ and Daniel turned their attention to Brooke.
Daniel: What’s wrong Brooke?
Brooke: How could I forget my fucking wallet the entire night! Ugh I feel so stupid!
JJ: Calm down Brooke! Do you remember where you last saw it?
The expression on Brooke’s face told JJ all he needed to know about how she felt. She looked as though she was trying to hide it, but her face told him that she wanted to throw up.
Daniel: Are you… okay?
Brooke: (dreadfully) It’s… back at my house.
JJ and Daniel: (both in shock) You can’t be serious!
Brooke: It all just happened so fast that I couldn’t keep track and…
JJ: (putting an arm around Brooke) It’s not your fault. We’ll go with you if you want.
Brooke shook her head, brushing JJ’s arm off of her.
Brooke: Thanks for being a friend. The both of you. But I need to go myself. If I must face my father again, I’d rather not let you both get involved.
Daniel: (crossing his arms in seriousness) We’re not letting you get hurt again, especially after Beckett lost his hand as we were trying to search for YOU!
Brooke: It’s not about that! How can I be strong if I can’t face my own obstacles on my own?
JJ: Still, I think I might have something that can help you if you really need it.
Daniel and Brooke gave JJ questioning glances.
JJ: I just need to make a quick run to my room. Don’t leave till after I come back!
Without waiting for an answer, JJ went back up the stairs to his room and went into his drawer. Resting within the drawer was a Swiss Army knife that belonged to his father who was a professional hunter and was passed down to him. JJ never had a need for the knife, but he figured the situation called for Brooke to have use for it if it meant seeing her father again after she told JJ about what he’d tried to do to her. He went back down the stairs, Swiss Army knife in hand, and saw Daniel and Brooke standing there waiting for him.
Daniel: The Swiss Army Knife your father gave to you!?
JJ: Yes. One and the same. (walks over to Brooke and places the knife on the palm of her right hand, wrapping her fingers around it) If you meet your father again and he tries to hurt you, do not hesitate to use this against him. He will not hesitate on another attempt to rape you.
Almost immediately after JJ finished talking, Brooke and JJ shared a hug as Daniel watched with a satisfied look to his face.
Brooke:(muffled sobbing) Oh JJ! Thank you so much! I’ll try my best to be careful for you!
JJ: That’s what friends are supposed to do. Look out for each other.
Without a newfound confidence, she left JJ, gave Daniel a hug and walked tearfully to the door.
JJ and Daniel: STAY SAFE BROOKE!
Brooke: I’ll try my best!
Brooke closed the door behind her, JJ and Daniel watching in silence that followed for several moments.
Daniel: (finally breaking the silence) Think she’ll be okay?
JJ: I hope so. I’m worried for both her and Beckett. In the meanwhile, I’ve heard of a good play that’s supposed to be going on at the West End Music Theater later on this afternoon at like 6. My mom wanted her and I to go, but she had to work, so I’m left with an extra ticket. Wanna go?
Daniel: (shrugs) Sure, why not?
--End Scene—
Alycia kept the note with her, trying to process what that note was trying to say and who “AA” was as she looked for a way out. She appreciated the man’s hospitality, but it was about time she knew where she was, so she brought everything she believed to be hers with her. Having gone undetected, she noticed a flight of stairs decorated with candles that lead to a medieval-looking door that also had candles right next to it. She figured it couldn’t hurt to check, so she went up the stairs. As she began to go up the stairs though, the candles behind her went out, turning the stairwell darker whenever she passed by a candle.
Alycia: (spooked) Don’t worry Alycia. You can see your way to the top.
Alycia continued up that flight of stairs and up to the door. She looked behind her. The whole chamber was dark below, so Alycia knew that she needed to open the door and get out. She searched for a handle until she found a large handle at the center of the door. Perplexed by the random door handle being at the center, she began to push. It wouldn’t budge from the inside.
Alycia: Maybe this opens inward instead outward.
She looked behind her, and what she saw frightened her. Behind was the edge of the landing she was on. She knew if the door was going to open, she would need to be careful how far she opened it. If she fell, she imagined she would certainly die. Alycia took a deep breath and tried to pull on the handle. As she tried to pull though, Alycia lost her balanced and fell backward. As she was close to the edge, she instinctively reached her hand out and grabbed onto the ledge. Once she secured herself onto the ledge, she used her might to climb back onto the landing and saw that the door did indeed open from the outside and was still open. Alycia walked over and left the landing the door was on.
On the other side of the door looked like the inside of a church. Alycia closed the door behind her and took in her surroundings.
Alycia: What is this place?
???: THIS is the Underwood Baptist Church!
Alycia turned her head to see that it was only the man in the black hood approaching behind her.
???: Look, I get it. You want to know where you are.
Alycia: (shaking her head) It’s not just about that. My friends are going to be worried about me!
???: Of course they are. But you’re not exactly unknown to the outside world anymore either.
Alycia: (giving a questioning glance) What do you mean? Who are you?
???: You got put on a Missing Person report after the car crash. One look at you and you will be turned over to authorities or worse, and had I not brought you here in the first place, you would already be well on your way there by now. That was no regular run-of-the-mill car accident. You froze the tree you crashed into as well as your windshield. Your power is awakening and already you have one of the strongest potentials I have ever seen. Don’t let it all go to waste by getting sent to some mad scientist’s lab.
Alycia: (accusatory) That’s insane! You actually think no one would show me compassion for me being found?
???: I didn’t say that. I know most of your friends would be thrilled to have you back. But you already also have enemies alongside friends. Those enemies would see you as an alien, and the people you’re friends with are more concerned about other things right now than looking for you. Your power will overpower your life if you’re not careful.
Alycia: That’s still not going to stop me!
The man in the black hood sighed heavily, as if weary of the conversation.
???: Very well, but still. Don’t go out yet.
Alycia: (livid) If you—
???: (interrupting) There is a play at 6 o’clock this afternoon that might be of some help to you. I had bought a ticket some time ago, but I think if you really want to start finding your friends, then I think it’s better that you go.
The man in the black hood reaches inside his pocket and produces a ticket, handing it to Alycia. The price of the ticket read $100.00 and the place looked to be the West End Music Theater.
Alycia: Thank you.
???: Yeah, you’re welcome. I will see you again though and you will begin your training.
--End Scene—
Vixella had gone back to the tree last night after her visitors had left to inspect Beckett’s severed hand and to study what the frost had been. It took some effort, but the darkness allowed her to safely bring the severed hand back to her home after she cut it off from the tree. It now sat in her bedroom staring back at her.
Vixella: What to do with you…
She had thought about giving the hand back to Beckett, but at best he would start freezing again, making her efforts from the previous afternoon look futile. She thought about disposing it, but she didn’t want to risk Beckett finding out she had his severed hand only to get rid of it. She needed a solution that met somewhere in the middle. She had studied a tome she had a looked to see if there was a solution. As she read, she came across something that looked promising, but it involved using black magic, something she had sworn to herself she would never deal with again.
Vixella conjured up a demon and had it sit next to the bed next to her.
Vixella: This is hard. Dealing with this Beckett guy is such a nuisance.
The demon growled in response, but it wasn’t one of those intimidating growls. Rather, this growl was one of communication.
Vixella: I had sworn never to use black magic again. You know what happened the last time I used that.
The demon growled again, but this time louder, almost as if it were trying to force her to use black magic.
Vixella: Ugh! But why?
Demon: (authoritatively sounding like a possessed medieval warlock now) Because there is no other way! Beckett will find your true intentions out if you do not do it!
Vixella sat there, pondering at the thought of using black magic again.
--End Scene—
Addie and her father followed Saara on their way to the Red Room of the West End Music Theater. Addie still held her resentment towards Saara from the other auditions and was now disgusted that she was going to have to work with her tonight. However, she was also mad at her father. She knew that he knew that she was going through a rough time because of Saara, and yet he brought her back to the feelings of woe. She looked at her father, who looked forlorn and quiet.
They got to the Red Room, but no one went in yet. Instead Saara turned to face Addie and Addie’s father.
Addie’s father: What’s the big deal?
Saara: I don’t want to have to deal with your daughter more than I absolutely have to, and yet you brought your daughter back into this mess.
Addie: (turns to her father, feeling hurt): WHAT!? What did you do!?
Addie’s father: (looking like the picture of guilt) I just wanted you to try this place out.
Saara: (crossing her arms) Tell your daughter the whole story.
Addie: (livid) THE WHOLE STORY!? What are you not telling me dad?
Addie’s father: (changing to an expression of resolution) Look, I saw Saara at the office when I picked up your job application. I didn’t tell you only because I didn’t want you turning this place away. I only wanted what was best for you.
Addie: Lying to me is not putting my best interests in hand dad.
Addie’s father: And what would you have done had I told you?
Addie: (shaking her head, not buying her father’s question) It’s not about that dad! You blatantly lied to me and now you have thrown me back with THIS FUCKING WALRUS!
Saara: I am NOT a walrus!
???: Save your drama for the fucking performance!
Addie, her father, and Saara turned their heads to see Christine standing there, arms crossed in an expression that told them she was not the least bit pleased.
Christine: Addie and Saara, if you both value your chances at getting a job here, you orangutans will go into that Red Room without any further discussion.
Saara: (sighs) Fine! Let’s go!
Addie and Addie’s father begin to follow Saara in, but Christine interrupts them again.
Christine: Oh no, grampa! Not you! You’re not the one applying for a job here, so you can sit this one out. If you want to see your daughter again, you will be doing so from the audience.
--End Scene—
Brooke parked her car at her house. No one seemed to be home from the looks of the cars. She brought her knife with her and deposited it into her pocket before going into her house. She began to look at the couches, which had beer bottles strewn all over the place from her father’s drinking, and the smell was horrid. She knew her wallet had to be in the living room if anything, so she began to search the couches.
???: What are you doing here?
Brooke turned in fear to find that it was only another girl, one she had never met.
Brooke: Who are you, and what are you doing in my house?
Katalia: I’m Katalia Kishukoi, and ARE YOU INSANE!?
Brooke: Well I’m Brooke Lively, and I need to find my wallet.
???: Did someone mention THIS!?
Brooke and Katalia jerked their heads to find that Brooke’s father had come back into the house, holding a golfer’s wallet in his hand with an evil grin on his face. This made Brooke fill with dread as she knew that wallet was hers. Immediately Katalia’s body began to rearrange, turning into a jackal that lunged straight for Brooke’s father. As Katalia approached him though, he kicked her on the side of her face, which made her switch back into a human.
Brooke’s father: (laughs sadistically) That was weak! You’re going to have to do better than THAT!
Brooke’s father kicked Katalia in the groin and then he turned his attention to Brooke, sporting the same evil grin as before.
Brooke’s father: Now daughter, we’re going to finish what we started.
--End Scene—
After med school, Shawn made his way to the West End Music Theater. Saara had called Shawn about the play and told him it would be tonight, so he ordered his ticket on the go. It was lucky for him that there were still seats available and that he still had many left to spare. He passed by the movie theater and there stood the grand building that was the West End Music Theater. Crowds of people were gathered outside as they made their way to go see the same play he was going to go see. Amongst the crowd of people he glimpsed Daniel.
Shawn: HEY DANIEL!
Daniel turned to notice Shawn and waved, beckoning him to come on over. Shawn made his way to Daniel and noticed that he was with a friend of his. Shawn didn’t really remember much about Daniel’s friends, but since Daniel was aspiring to go to med school, he and Shawn knew each other pretty well.
Daniel: (smiling) Hey Shawn! How are you?
Shawn: Just been busy with med school. You?
Daniel: Hangin’ inthere. JJ here invited me to come in place of his mother, so that’s why I’m here. What about you?
Shawn: Oh, I’m best friends with Saara, who told me she’s going to be performing.
JJ: Being honest, I really don’t know why the theater casted those 2 people at the last minute.
Daniel elbowed JJ in the chest.
Daniel: Be nice JJ! This is Shawn’s best friend you’re talking about!
All of a sudden Mac came out of a car with an aging man and walked over to the group.
Daniel: Oh hi Mac!
Mac: Hey Daniel, Shawn, and…
JJ: JJ!
Mac: I KNEW I was missing your name! This is my escort here with me. His name’s Jarvis.
Jarvis bowed to the group.
Shawn: He seems… very…. manner like.
Jarvis: That would be because I’m a butler, good sir.
JJ: Ah! Makes sense then.
Daniel: Hmm… who are you a butler for, may I ask?
Shawn could see a glint in Daniel’s eyes as he asked Jarvis, almost as if they shined for a brief moment.
But Daniel remained suspicious, almost as if he sensed trouble in Mac’s quick response. Elsewhere in Shawn’s sight was Kitty and a friend of hers. Kitty gave him a threatening glance before escorting her friend into the theater.
Shawn: Can we just go in? We’re missing the play!
JJ: Yeah, I’m with Shawn on this one.
Daniel gave Mac and Jarvis a gesture that told them he had his eyes on them as they walked into the West End Music Theater.
--End Scene—
In the Auditorium, Daniel made his way with JJ to Row 64 in the main auditorium. Behind them were Shawn, Mac, and Jarvis. Crowds of people filed in as they looked for their seats shown on their tickets. The auditorium had a very elegant look to it, as if Leonrado DaVinci jumped forward in time to help construct a blueprint for this theater. The walls were made of the finest cuts of marble. The balcony was the shape of one-half of a donut with an overlook a few meters away from each boundary of the main balcony. The lowest floor looked as if there was no incline. The second floor, which they were on, was half-donut-shaped like the balcony, but no overlooks. The lights were dimmed a beautiful orange.
Daniel: This actually looks really nice! Are ALL theaters like this!?
Jarvis: No sir. This is a state-of-the-art theater. This theater is one of the few things that puts this town on the map.
Shawn: I can see why.
Daniel looked at his ticket. Row 64 Seat K it read on his ticket. Once they got to Row 64, he read each seat carefully until he saw the letter K, then he sat down. JJ was next to him on 64J and Shawn 64L. Jarvis and Mac were on the other side of JJ. Daniel watched as the curtains began to open. In the center was Christine Torrance, the woman who runs the theater. The entire cast formed a semicircle around her. Daniel noticed Shawn’s expression turn to one of pride, and that was he needed to know that Saara was on the stage. Daniel spotted Shawn’s friend Saara on the left side with someone who looked a lot younger.
JJ: (whispers) Who’s the girl next to Saara?
Shawn: (whispers) Addie, but why are the two next to each other?
A pounding of a stick could be heard, breaking off any conversations in the auditorium.
Christine: Thank you all for coming! Tonight, we haveadded two new talents. They have audtioned for 3 reality TV shows together and are here for the first time on stage together! Put your hands together for Addie Singer Sants and Saara Alto!
Clapping is heard all throughout the auditorium as Addie and Saara got up and bowed to the audience.
Christine: Now tonight, I have prepared a prestigious work of art—
???: AND IT WILL BE YOUR LAST!
This silenced the entire auditorium. Daniel looked all around, trying to find where the noise came from.
Christine: Who is there!? Show yourself!
All of a sudden, a figure in a dark red hood jumped down into the second stage floor, and then jumped off down to the ground floor. Daniel turned to see that Mac and Jarvis were not in their seats.
Daniel: The fu—
All of a sudden, a roar of screams is heard.

Do you think the Swiss Army Knife JJ gave Brooke will help her?: With this Knife it definitely sets us up for Brooke's Father's inevitable death (Along with many Guest Characters), I feel Brooke should definitely be the one to take him down due to their past but if its Katalia I'll be equally as satisfied.
Did Alycia go to the show, and if she did, how will she make her appearance?: I don't think she went, I think if she did she was late and was held up. Alycia is probably away from that scene (As she seems to be for all scenes so far bless her)
Will Vixella go back to black magic?: Yes, however I feel this sets her up. I want to say based on past experiences with the word Black Magic that it comes with a price. Again, relating to Alycia's visions with the 'Horns' perhaps it does help everyone but at a price of darkening Vixella and losing that Heroine side she has.
Was Addie right to get mad at her father?: I want to say no, I can understand both sides of this however.
How will the fight between Katalia/Brooke vs. Brooke’s father turn out?: Brooke's Father's death. I think its too early for Katalia or Brooke to die, Especially in S1. I feel now we've seen both evolve a little its time to see them both recover from a traumatic experience.
Thoughts about the scene (Katalia/Brooke vs. Brooke’s father) being a cliffhanger: I feel its better leaving the climax for the Mid-Season Finale as if there is a shocking death atleast it'll hold up for a bigger episode.

I want to say Zella will definitely kill Christine but I'm also predicting someone out of Saara/Addie will die with the other one living with the regret and guilt of it all.

Thoughts on the Episode: I loved it! And I don't usually like reality sort of stuff. I mean, powers aren't exactly real but they live in modern society, you know. But it really hooked me! Def read the next one.
Do you think the Swiss Army Knife JJ gave Brooke will help her? I haven't yet read previous episodes, but her dad seems quite experienced considering he took down Katalia in one kick, despite her having nature powers. I don't know how much the swiss army knife will do in her favour.

I think it worked well with that scene, as there was more information to follow on other characters. But the cliffhanger at the end of the episode was too cliche for me, sorry. BUT I STILL LIKED IT! How will the fight between Katalia/Brooke vs. Brooke’s father turn out? I hope that Katalia or Brook won't die because of that psychopath. Honestly I think that he will defeat them and will try to rape Brooke.

What happened at the end of the episode? What are your thoughts about THAT cliffhanger? Both cliffhangers are great and I am really looking forward to see what's going to happen!

Any comments/suggestions/concerns? I just came up with a theory. I haven't read the other comments yet, so It's MINE. I think Alycia will have to make A HUGE choice in the next episode - to save Brooke from being raped by her father or to save somebody in the theater. I won't be surprised if she freeze the time to prevent one of those things from happening.

Do you think the Swiss Army Knife JJ gave Brooke will help her? I think so.
Did Alycia go to the show, and if she did, how will she make her appearance? I'm not sure.
Will Vixella go back to black magic? I get an Evil Queen vibe from her, I feel like she's going to have a hard fight trying to become a good guy, but will ultimately always feel like she can't.
Was Addie right to get mad at her father? Hells yes.
