Should I buy a 2021 toyota corolla with 64k miles for $18,000? It also has all new brakes, new tires, and some other shit. My current car is a 2011 chevy impala...bought it for $5000 and this year it needed like $4,000 ALREADY of work and i was quoted to expect another 3-4,000??? like obviously i'm not gonna do that but is it smart to buy such a pricey car? my income is about 55k a year and i pay 1k/month for rent. payment would be between 350-400/month. i would expect to keep it long term
I honestly think you could find a better deal if you keep looking, or if you're set on this Corolla I'd try and talk them down on price about $3000. A 2021 with that many miles is a lot....especially for $18k. My 2021 Jeep has 50,000 miles on it, and I commute 500 miles a week.
I don't know all the details of the vehicle, but I input some basic stuff into Kelly Blue Book for a 2021 Corolla, and the trade in range is 14.2-15.6k. I would recommend going to Kelly Blue Book yourself, since you have more details on the car and can get a better estimate on whether it is over priced or not. If you need help, please just mail or Discord me and I'll be glad to help
To be honest the market for cars is terrible right now, so 18K for 64K miles is honestly not a bad deal. Toyotas are super reliable cars and can last forever if you keep up with your oil changes/maintenance
