who was reading at a 1st grade level (in 6th) and I started working with him a lot and now he's about 3rd grade level after a few months. And his confidence/fluency has gotten so much better! I was literally tearing up today because of how far he's come and he asked why I was sad and I said I'm not sad I'm just so proud of you!! I really feel useless as a teacher a lot of the time and this kinda made all the difference for me
