I'm back from some ridiculous ban for making a harmless joke!
Pathetic that people report others just to get farther in a Casting of all places. I didn't even know I broke any rules when I said what I said. But hey, people are going to be petty and would rather win by technical issues opposed to winning by merit.
Uh when it's directed at myself, a member of the LGBTQ community, it definitely is harmless. But I forget the world is so sensitive and takes everything so personal. I made a joke at my own expense. So yeah, I'd say harmless. Not one person said they were offended or called me out. No one even knew why I was banned because it was unwarranted.
People should just speak up and say there were offended and I would have apologized. But when people do it just to get farther in a game, it's pathetic.
Yeah I read that after I was banned. But thanks for that. As I said, I didn't even know saying that was grounds to be banned. If I did, I would never have said it. But I've never taken the time to read moderations point by point play book. I've seen that word a lot on this site, and I don't really get offended but hate speech from others (that's life), so I didn't know it was a rule. Now I do.
My point isn't that I shouldn't have been banned. It's a rule, and I should have (I just was unaware of the rule). And because I know, now, I definitely won't say it again. But people also should only report others to be banned if it's in a hateful demeanor or being used to attack someone. I used it as a joke ON MYSELF, and said it only once. And if that hurt someone's feelings, they should have told me and I would have apologized and continued the game. Especially since everyone in that game appreciated my activity and fun personality. They shouldn't have reported me to moderation just to get farther in a Casting (which is what they did). In the real world, there is no moderation to have your back. So it'd be nice if people dealt with issues on their own, and then if people continued to be rude/hateful, then remove and ban them.
