From a very emotional series, these two meet by chance on a hill top leading towards their school. From that moment on, they go on a whirlwind of a journey as they go from strangers to husband and wife. I don't want to ruin it for you, but they share many different moments together and no matter what, they are always by each other's side. The motion picture completely contradicts the series, so I wouldn't watch it. But Clannad and Clannad After Story is one of the best romantic and emotional anime out there. It would be a crime for me to not to include Tomoya the slacker and Nagisa the innocent good girl in a anime couple's season!
