Okay, this is kinda long, but it definitely works...i'm just past my second merge now, and it's worked so far...from the start, obviously be cool with everyone in your tribe, and from the getgo...LET THE FIRE DIE!!! you don't need it as much as you think you do at the start...cuz you have plenty of group supplies...and while the less personal supplies you have, the less time you have for challenges, it's not an extraordinary amount of time that you lose...plus it takes 6 water from your personal supplies every time you do light the fire, and it relights itself daily anyways without you guys!
Also, you'll find out in the first few days who the strongest at challenges are...try to be one of them if you can...although i know that's something you can't really control, you're either good, an in-betweener, or you're not good...sorry!
If you guys hunt for food when it's sunny, and leave the water butt out to collect rain water when it's raining, you'll build your tribe supplies up to 100/100 after 5 hunts and 5 rains...this should happen in the first 5 game days or so...in that time, you just split these chores up among your tribe so that you all evenly lose your personal supplies...and once you're all getting low in personal supplies you'll be able to start dipping into your group supplies.
Now here's something that confuses people about this game...LISTEN UP...the only way you can die is if your personal health gets to 0/0...you may not die after one day change while being at 0/0(there is a SMALL chance though, Randomize said), but you WILL die if you go two day changes at 0/0...and from what i know, if there are more than one person at 0/0, only one of them will die randomly per day change...hopefully you won't get to this point though...and having immunity from the vote if your side is on tribal council WILL NOT save you from dying if you are at 0/0 for the second day.
Also, DO NOT EAT OR DRINK IF THE FIRE IS OUT because there is a 50/50 chance that it will take your personal supplies down all the way to 0/0!!! And one last thing...when you get to the last few days, most likely you all will be nearing the end of your supplies...all you need to do is wait for the fire to light daily, and eat OR drink 1...going into day change with at least 1/0 or 0/1 personal supplies will KEEP YOU ALIVE...since the day change automatically takes 5 water and 6 food from everyone's personal supplies, most will think they have to drink 6 or eat 7 to stay ahead of day change...this is not true...day change bringing you down to 0/0 is no big deal, cuz you can just eat or drink one right away and wait for the next day change and do it again!
