I coach a little girls softball team and they had a game today. I had it in my head all weekend that we played home today. I even told my mom to come watch the game because it was home. I get to the park about an hour early and NO ONE IS THERE…literally NOT EVEN ONE CAR…panicked I look at the schedule and we play at a field an hour away. I rush to the field to find the game already started 10 min ago, two of them are crying because the catcher said mean things to them and my heart is racing 150 beats a minute because I’m so stressed. We were down by three points and came back to tie the team 5-5 but I can’t stop thinking about it and have this feeling that I fucked up so bad not being there at the start. Never again!

We all have moments like this, I’m glad you made it - I bet other people turned up 10mins+ late that lived close to the game 😂 I feel like now you’ll make sure you double/triple check beforehand so there’s learning in our mistakes and it all worked out, so the perfect opportunity for growth with no harm done 😊
