Is it just that NFTs flat out make no sense or do I just not understand them? I keep trying to figure out what it means but no materials I view seem to make any sense as to why I would bother purchasing it
You are buying the rights to technically nothing and you have no right to it and it needs a server running 24/7 to exist correct? What???

NFTs are basically just unique instances of cryptocurrency which means that they can be used to represent a contract or the "rights" to something
so like where every "bitcoin" or "dogecoin" is exactly the same, worth the same thing, NFTs are "non-fungible" / not exchangeable with one another and has some unique representation and also has the same records of transactions that regular crpyocurrencies have which makes it good for representing contracts/ownership
