Matt is the first of the two Team Aqua admins to be took out of this ranking. I don't mind Matt's character design at all, in fact, I do like it. However, he just doesn't have as strong of an appeal factor to me compared to the other seven admins that remain. When it comes to battling against Matt though, he is definitely a bit more of a challenge in Sapphire & Emerald, compared to Alpha Sapphire. As in Sapphire, the first battle he uses Carvanha, Poochyena & Carvanha, with second battle of him using Carvanha, Mightyena & Sharpedo. Emerald, he uses team of Mightyena & Golbat (this one is probably the team of his that I like least because he lacks a Water type.) Then in Alpha Sapphire, you battle him about 5 times throughout the story, with the first and last battles against him being double battles. He uses Sharpedo as his sole pokemon for battling in Alpha Sapphire, with it being a Mega Sharpedo in final battle. So yea, only challenge there could just be the fact that double battles could potentially mess you up if not prepared, but most part the battles against Matt are just single battles. Overall, Matt is just a middle of the road Admin to me, he's not really one I love, but also not one I hate. The top seven are all ones I love or really like though, so I had no other option but to rank out Matt for eighth.
