Let's have today be a day of remembrance; a day where all of us stand United against the horrific people and the actions they committed 16 years ago today. Thousands of people and American pride were lost from this event, and we need to cherish those we still have and we need to honor those we do not.
I implore everyone on this website to share their experiences they have about that day 16 years ago.
For me, I was a little over one so I wasn't aware of any of this happening. By mom however was floored when she saw the events happening at her job's mess hall.
I am blessed that I didn't lose anyone to the 9/11 attacks, but my heart goes out to those who did.

As a California resident, I've been blessed with not having to worry about hurricanes. But to all those that have been affected by the recent hurricanes, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. Stay brave for God will keep you safe.
