unkown dude no the separation of families has been going on since the 90s. The reason they should be waiting and holding is because many are able to apply for some kind of a waiver or protection (which I doubt trump is giving anyhow). Obama just deported people left and right despite promising at the start of his campaign that he would only go after serious criminals. But that only made up about 2% of the 3 million people he deported
