Well, if money is what you are interested in, here is some ways that you can make some extra $$$ out of it.
1.) Put Ads on the website. We don't really care if they're there because of the ad game anyway. However, if you have too much pride/integrity to put ads on here...
2.) Add a second currency or some form of premium membership. I'm sure that a lot of people would seriously consider doing this. Make Stars members only and maybe add early access for the future. A second currency could be used if, say, you introduced an official shop for certain designs, and these designs could be sold for t$ back to this "shop".
3.) Nerf Crooks betting for Charities. It's abuse. I'd be happy if charities were bannable alltogether.
4.) This one's the biggy. ADD DONATIONS WITH INCENTIVES. These incentives would encourage you to give the site the improvements it needs and would encourage us users to throw money at you. I'd donate in a heartbeat if this website was fixed and the suggestions on Johneh 's blog were taken into consideration. Seriously. I think everyone here would.
Money would make him come back to the site 100% IMO
