Amanda (China, Micronesia & Heroes vs Villains)
Amanda is a solid player there's no doubt about it, she managed to make the final tribal councils in both Survivor China and Survivor Micronesia. In my opinion Amanda didn't do much in China, but found herself at the end by flying under the radar, in Micronesia, she would play a much more strategical game, being part of the most deadly women alliance to ever play the game and using the idol to avoid elimination in the final 6, once again she would find herself at the final tribal council. However her inability to speak in front of a jury proved to be her downfall and she would come up short both times, it takes a good Survivor player to make the final tribal council, but it takes a great Survivor player to win it all and unfortunately, that's not Amanda.
Colby (Australian Outback, All-Stars & Heroes vs Villains)
One of the first true good guys of the game, known as a challenge beast in Australia, he would forever be known as one of the all time best, however is this title well deserved? In Australia Colby had little strategy in his game, he would be well liked and find himself at the merge. At the first merged tribal council Colby missed elimination by the skin of his teeth in a 5-5 deadlock vote with fellow castaway Jeff, by virtue of having no previous votes cast against him he stayed over Jeff,who had a single vote cast against him. You also have to wonder how different the outcome of the season would have been if Michael not fallen in the fire, Kucha would have most likely merged with the numbers over Colby's tribe, Ogakor, presumably he would have been voted out 6-4 in this case and would be out of the game. After this Colby would go on an impressive streak of challenge wins, taking him all the way to the final 3, this is where he would make one of the biggest boneheaded Survivor moves ever, he took the highly popular Tina to the final 2 over Keith, who Colby surely would have beaten in the end. He made this move because he felt the heroic, honourable move would be to take Tina to the final 2, he would lose by a single vote. He would be than asked back to All-Stars where he would do nothing of substance and get voted out pre-merge and in Heroes vs Villains a clear shell of his former self, Colby would compete again, only to fail at nearly every challenge and float to the final five and practically ask to be voted out. No doubt he is one of the most memorable players of all time, but his time has passed, if his performance in Heroes vs Villains is any indication, he should never return. It's time for Colby to hang up the torch.
