Here we are at the finale. And I’m gonna pull a shocker winner pick on y’all. But after the last episode, I think a lot of others will think on the same page.
3. Tara & Joey (#TeamMom&Dad)- They have been likable, but all around, kind of bland. Plus, we saw them at their most annoying last episode. Tara just couldn’t figure out the video game, and Joey kept saying that video games weren’t a worthy enough challenge to send them home…well guess what?! You’re type cast as the parental figures of the season…of COURSE you’re going to say that. But somehow, the editors thought we should hear them complain about it dozens of times. They lost a leg in the past, but they’ve also won legs in the past. They could win it, but they’re already leaving the mat in 3rd place, and I just think they’ve been losing steam since their non-elimination leg that they lost.
2. Brooke & Scott (#TeamBrookeandScott)- Here’s the foreshadowing I picked up. Scott said how some teams in the race have never won a leg. Then they win a leg. So this probably means they won’t win it all…do you think the editors of this show would make us hate Brooke so much to give this team $1 million. That’s why I knew Brendon & Rachel could never win the race. They were problematic all season, bickering and arguing. I think they’ll still come in second place, but the way their edit foreshadows, Brooke will ultimately drag them down. I’d like to see Scott back with his own partner of choice, conquering this race the right way. For now, I’m putting them in the middle.
1. London & Logan (#TeamLoLo)- As much as Scott’s statement foreshadowed that they would LOSE, I think it also foreshadowed how LoLo could WIN. They haven’t won a leg, but not all winners do. It all comes down to this one leg. LoLo always manages to make it in. They always manage to be safe, and slip in there. They’re the most likable. They get along well, and never put each other down. I’m putting my money on the underdogs, but at this point, I’m sure they’re the favorite team among a lot of people too.
I don’t think I’m alone in this. LoLo has had the most invisible edit, but the most positive one at that. That’s why I think it’ll end in their favor. If Tara & Joey win, it’ll be a bit shocking considering their recent few legs. Brooke & Scott have the lead, but are bound to lose it. If they were our winners, CBS wouldn’t have turned us off by them so much.
