of all time are over now” is such a depressing lyric lol. Do you think she means it as in the world’s greatest loves, Romeo and Juliet and all that? or maybe she means it more specifically like the greatest loves of your own life are done, and now you’re gonna have to settle. That’s even more depressing. She probably meant it both ways. Or do you take it another way?

This story is being told from the time that comes after a breakup... even if it’s many years later, when you think or question whether it was really the greatest love. Even when we are in a great place, it’s still easy to slip into thinking back on a past love and thinking they might have been the 1.
