Here is the game that would have been played!
Tonight’s Daily Challenge is called “King’s Court” and here’s how it works.
In this strategy competition, players will have to move around the board and try to box in their opponents.
At the start of the competition, players will choose a starting position on the 8 x 8 board. The turn order will be set up so that one player in each pair will take their turn before the second player in each pair. Basically, you and your partner will take your turn in one of these orders: 1st & 8th, 2nd & 7th, 3rd & 6th, 4th & 5th, so that if you take your turn first, your partner will be taking their turn last.
The Board:

I will not be imposing a strict deadline on how long players will have to make their moves, however, be warned that if players are taking too long to make their moves I will implement a rule to speed up the game.
After a player leaves a space, that space it out of play and no other player can move to it. In addition, two players cannot be on the same space at any point in the competition. If on a player’s turn they cannot move to a valid space, they will be eliminated from the competition.
The board will be updated at the conclusion of each round.
The last pair that has a player remaining in the game will win Safety and the power to send a player into the Presidio. Everyone else will be at risk of competing in the Presidio and being the eleventh player eliminated from this game.
Any questions?
