Throughout the series, many players have played, some numerous times, and every season there are mistakes made by players, whether this be during a competition, their choice after the competition result, and even when it comes time to cast their vote to evict. These mistakes are things which have resulted in players’ games being ruined, whether this be by causing an allies’ eviction; their own eviction shortly after; or even being a tanking factor which ultimately cost them the win, preventing them from becoming a JR Big Brother winner.

This season, it is time to reverse those costly mistakes have been made, and for smarter and correct moves to be made. The moves that did certain players in in the past, now have the chance by a cast of returnees to be put right, within the JR Big Brother house. One simple question: Are you ready to reverse the curse?

Welcome to... JRBB 16: Ghost Island

To reveal the cast I will go first based on the number time this houseguest is playing, starting with 2 timers, then 3 timers, and finally the 4 timers, and then go based on average placements of these players.

— TWO-TIMERS —

Our first player played in the eleventh season of JR Big Brother. Coming into the season, he secured himself in a relatively decent position, and was able to prove himself physically as early as the first week. He then made it through the next couple rounds with relative ease as his allies won competitions which meant he was protected, though Week 4 after the Head of Household was tired of his trolling up until that point in the game, he retaliated to it by trolling in return and putting this houseguest on the block as a replacement nominee. However, this ultimately spelled disaster, as many players saw this as a chance to split up these players, which saw this houseguest have an early checkout from the game.

JR Big Brother 11: Project Gemini - 13th out of 16

Our second player played in the third season of JR Big Brother. This player never truly found his footing in the game, only casting 4 votes to evict all game, and 3 of them 4 times being in the minority, despite one of those times playing a double vote to do so. They did survive a vote Week 4 against a player with a greater target on their head due to their messy gameplay style, but when the same Head of Household who previously nominated him did so again the first week of jury, he found himself in deep waters, and after extra votes were played by the trio of the houseguest he was nominated against, this was enough to send a clear majority and end this players’ time in the game, making him the first member of the jury.

JR Big Brother 3: Vice and Virtue - 11th out of 16

Our third houseguest previously played in the fourteenth season of JR Big Brother. He hit the ground running, winning the first Head of Household competition of the season, allowing him to position himself well going further into the game. Towards the end of the pre-jury, he came into full swing at Double Eviction night, as he squared up to the HOH and Vetoing the HOH’s target for eviction, which made him cause waves, that subsequently saw him on the block the following round. Despite surviving this eviction, his time eventually came two rounds later, when the surviving nominee he had nominated week 1 won HOH, and took a shot and hit this player, ending his game relatively prematurely.

JR Big Brother 14: Judgement Day - 10th out of 16

Our fourth houseguest’s original season was the fourteenth season of JR Big Brother. Despite initially finding his footing in the game, this player played a greater proportion of the season in the season’s twist Ruined Palace house as opposed to the Main Game house, after his time there was abruptly ended in Week 4. Surviving the one Ruined Palace vote he ended up facing, he then went onto win the Ruined Palace purge, ahead of keep fighting his battles until eventually in Week 8 he earned his way back into the main house. However, his time here was once again kept short, as after losing both the HOH and POV that round, he was swiftly given the revolving door, and taken back out to the jury house.

JR Big Brother 14: Judgement Day - 8th out of 16

Our fifth player first played in the eighth season of JR Big Brother. The entire time this houseguest was in the game, he had something going on. In the second week, he won the Secret Week Head of Household competition, which allowed him to take a shot at two of the biggest threats in the game. However, after they both survived, this contributed to other players targeting him too, which made him the victim of an attempted backdoor Week 4. After this backdoor failed, he continued fighting, winning a Veto to save himself whilst nominated. However, the same could not be said the next two times he was nominated, and whilst he did survive the first time in an almost unanimous vote, the second time his luck had run out, as he was evicted in a 3-1 vote, placing him on the jury.

Hey everyone

Our sixth houseguest previously played in the thirteenth season of JR Big Brother. Coming into this season as a familiar face in the ORG community as opposed to the tengaged one, instantly this put this houseguest in a different position to many players within the game. This saw her end up as a pawn in the Rookies house in the two-house twist round, though surviving unanimously, and then narrowly surviving the Week 4 vote, after a 5-5 vote had the tie split in her favour, allowing her to survive. She went onto survive four more rounds, including losing her partner, before being used as a pawn again in Week 7. However, in Week 9, she was able to win Head of Household, and split up the final remaining duo after her biggest adversary in the game won the Power of Veto, though after he then won HOH at the Double Eviction, she was evicted this round, predominantly for being seen as too close to the eventual season winner, and for being labelled a threat to win herself.

JR Big Brother 13: Blood vs Water - 6th out of 18

1 HOH / 0 POV wins.

Our seventh houseguest playing for their second time first played in the sixth season of JR Big Brother. He entered the season as an outsider, not having relationships with players prior to the game, and quickly was found to have a strong social game, as well as being able to prove himself in competitions. Despite being nominated twice during double digits, and surviving both votes narrowly by just one vote, he then went onto win two consecutive HOH competitions, taking out one of the seasons strongest players up until that point, and one of the other remaining houseguests he perceived a threat he was not closely aligned with. However, his downfall came the following round, as he was named the replacement nominee and sent out of the game after receiving all 3 votes to evict against the eventual winner of the season.
