One thing that I value about myself and always show throughout my journey is my creativeness. I love to thing outside the box and also story-telling my perspective and hope that the audience understands it too. All models always have room for improvement and I hope to go through that in this competition. For my shot, I wanted to show the multi-layers that I have to myself! I'm Matheus, a fun, youthful and kinda cute model. I like to portray cute and aesthetic things that looks soft, but i can also be sharp like a knife when needed. I'm the famous Angelic boy.

Brasil is a country well known by the forests and vegetation. We have the biggest world forest, the Amazon rainforest. In this shot i'm kinda recreating also a Brazilian folclore, Iara (adapted).

Iara is a legend invented by the Tupi people. Among the legends of Brazilian folklore, she is one of the most popular. The character is represented by a mermaid of charming beauty and long, black hair, and owner at once charming.

Before becoming a mermaid, Iara was such a beautiful Indian that she aroused the envy of many people, including her brothers who decided to kill her in a forest. However, Iara did not die and wanted revenge by killing them.

Because of this, she was punished and thrown into the meeting between Rio Negro and Solimões. The legend of Iara says that she attracts fishermen with her voice to the bottom of the sea and then they are no longer seen.

Guam is known for its beaches, but that’s for the tourist because what they really miss out on is how beautiful and alone the hills & fields are. Normally the stricter area of Guam for tourist and residents as they like to keep it preserved. So I wanted to embody all of that into one.
