It’s my pleasure to pass along the Top Toot award for the season. The runway has always been my favorite part of drag race. It is like this magical curtain drop where you can just unleash everything inside you. Beauty. Horror. True style, even self. All of it. So I’ve been watching closely, specifically to each of your runways, and give this award away with real consideration and awe. Because this season had many jaw dropping looks.

First Talians Drag Race! Next, the cover of Vogue!

Well, I don’t think anyone expected this, not even Mac armed with Reddit spoilers.

In my entire TG Drag career, I’ve always felt that fashion was my weakness. Mind you, I wasn’t that great at writing either when I first began, but still, it was more reliable than my runways. But both my fashion and my writing improved when I decided this: Don’t give what you think everyone else will want to see. Make what YOU want to see, and the sincerity and creativity that you put into your work will shine in the eyes of the people.

Back during the makeover challenge, I explained my design philosophy to Meringue (God rest her soul...): Don’t go with the first thing that comes to mind, nor the second, nor the third. Think outside the bawx. Go where no Queen has gone before. Don’t be discouraged if IMVU doesn’t have the exact things you need for your look. Do whatever you must to make your vision a reality!

Oh yeah, last thing: I accept this award on behalf of the Save Maddie Ziegler from Sia Initiative. That girl is being held hostage!
