Yes. If my tribe keeps losing challenges like this, then if I make an alliance my allies or me will be gone and if I survive, when I'm on a different tribe, I will be the only one without allies.

Well, you can only do so much but ultimately I know many of my tribe had irl issues that superseded tengaged and that is understandable. Irl is more important... Hopefully next challenge everyone will be more into the challenge and hopefully we can avoid getting back here again...
