My question is: why were y'all so fucking fake

I really try to not be fake. I really dont like to tell people im locking a name if I dont mean it and I really dont think I did. When it comes to the round you left I really did not want to vote for you and I didnt. I did know that ray would likely play his idol but I didnt want to vote you as I really did like you a lot. I could have been more honest and up front because I did know that you were likely leaving but I just felt bad about basically fucking you over so i just kept it quiet.

And Joey, for me, going to the end with two finalists looks like an even odder choice. Were you sheeping them or?

See I dont really take that into account when considering who I am gonna work with or go to the end with. I have played games with both jake and eoin before and I have beat them and I have lost to them so their history in this game did not matter to me as just because I have no record in this game that is just because i havent played it, I have won and gone far and many other survivor games. As for the sheeping aspect I would not say I sheeped at all. We all came into merge with different circumstances and relationships and considering I came into merge in a minority position and I was able to flip that into a place where I knew everything that I was going on and everyone was telling me what they wanted to do. I set myself up in a good spot to do what I wanted to do, which was be loyal to the people I was with.

For all 3. I really do hate cross-tribe talk before swap/merges. In my mind, I'm playing a game in a slightly roleplaying capacity, and there are imagined physical barriers preventing me from discussing anything with other tribes. Am I a fool? Is it a requirement to start the cross-tribal communication in order to succeed?

I mean There isnt really a way to stop it so I dont think it is like against the rules but I did not do it much either. Like i have said I am friends with Eoin and Jake so like we talk everyday about stuff other than this game (but we did talk about this game as well) but other than that I did not talk to people prior to merge that were not on my tribe. Like I said all my other relationships started on the merge day so I dont think it is required to do well but it definitely helps and with no way to prevent it I assume many people probably do it.

Q1. Ok, a basic one, but I do really want to know. What does being cutthroat mean to you, and how do you feel you best portrayed it in this game?

A. Cutthroat to me means that you're willing to do anything to win and cut anyone's throat to do so. I feel this was portrayed by the fact that I lead and clearly hurt a side, I played to win and had to cut throat's and hurt people to do so.

Q2. For Eoin and Joey - I think we all reviewed the list of cutthroat history while idol hunting? You wanted a F3 with a previous winner? Make it make sense. Especially Eoin, you've come so close before. Wouldn't it have been more cutthroat to ensure your biggest threats weren't there with you? And Joey, for me, going to the end with two finalists looks like an even odder choice. Were you sheeping them or?

A. To me, past games mean nothing, I've won games Jake has lost, vice versa, I played this game as an individual game and isolated it from past games, we've played together. Therefore, the fact he's a winner didn't play into account this game. In my eyes, it was cutthroat the way I played, even if it is sitting beside Jake, I'm confident my game is different enough from his and flashier, I think they're both very different. I think I was more cutthroat, in the fact I've cut more throats to get here. But I don't think how Jake played a previous game should secure any votes.

It's not a requirement, we played a solo game for the majority of it, for example, Jake and I were against each other for most of the early merge and our relationship didn't really help until then. So yes, it did help me in this game, particularly, from the idol onwards. But as Jake said there were 15 people, and three of us. It was a benefit, to have them coming into the game, I do agree.

Oops I forgot the question about cutthroat but basically to me being cutthroat means doing whatever you have to to make it to the end and win. It doesn’t always mean making big flashy blindsides, sometimes it can just be more subtle like leading someone on to get what you want and then backing out. Or knowing someone will protect you but you won’t protect them, which I honestly did a lot in this game. So yeah that’s what cutthroat is to me honestly

I knew this was gonna be the Final 3. I went around telling people that these 3 need to be OUT asap after F9. But in vain.

As of now, I am set to vote for Jake. Not kidding.
He played a very sneaky game which I loved! Plus he never rubbed me the wrong way (unlike Eoin)

Joey.. ummm. Kinda never socialised.

But let me give each one of you a change. Tell me why you deserve to win? Tell me where did the other two fuck up and you shined through.

You know what Akshay, you were pretty horrible to me, I approached you several  times to smooth things over and you refused to. You can try and rationalise it as me being the dick all you want but the fact of the matter is, I came to you to try and make things right and you were not having it. I respect you not liking me on a human level, but I felt you never respected me from day one.

I’ve explained in my speech why I deserve to win, because if we’re going to go off flashy moved I have it in the bag.

Jake doesn’t deserve to win and fucked up by leaking everything to us which showed a complete disrespect to the friendships he had mad, and belittled those people. I was straight with my side. Jake at times played for me to win instead of himself, for example giving me the idol or leaking Oliver’s list in the final. I shone through by never really having to do the same to Jake, I never leaked about Meggee’s plans to get him our and I kept my promises to Oliver to never shit talk him. I was able to get what I wanted at all times, even if it was in a round about way.

Joey fucked up by not really socialising to the same extent, Joey at times was filled in by me on a lot of things. His lack of social game is a reason that he fucked up. I shined through on this is because I always was in the know, and even when I knew I was getting votes, I was able to be calm and navigate through it successfully.

@Akshay

I don't know if you wanted me to answer your question, but I am going to. I think I played the best game. Yes, I was sneaky. yes, I leaked things people about Eoin to Eoin. Yes I leaked things Eoin/Joey said about other people to them. I tried my best trying to run around to each person telling them information to get them to trust me more. And I own that. Unlike Eoin, who would constantly leak things and is now pretending he's not. He would always tell me the vote, he would tell me what people were saying, he told me Pietro's idol clues when he won challenges, he told me when Ray didn't want to flip in the tie which gave me ammunition to talk to Ray and try persuading him. He told me Pietro and Meggie were pre-game friendsThe difference between Eoin and I is I'm owning it and I don't think he is. And I did not play for anyone to win, aside from myself. That's laughable.

Eoin doesn't deserve to win because in my personal opinion, if you need a hidden immunity idol to survive in the game, it automatically disqualifies you from my vote. I had the idol, but i never wanted to use it on myself because I think needing an idol to survive is a weakness. Yes, it's good tv and it can be flashy, but if you are receiving so many votes at tribal that you need an idol, to me it shows that your games has a lot of flaws. That would automatically disqualify someone from my vote. I only ever received one vote, I gave away idols because I didn't need them to protect me when others did. I think Eoin's social game was a big fuck up. That's where I shined.

Joey fucked up by just not putting a lot of effort into this game. He didn't really talk to a lot of people, he didn't spend a lot of his day online talking through. He didn't try in a lot of the challenges. To me, I would want to vote for someone who dedicated themselves to the game and I think Joey didn't really do that and I definitely shined through in that aspect. I spend all day long strategizing, I showed up to every challenge, I gave it my all.

Hi Jake, if you read mine I acknowledge keeping some things to myself as well as leaking things! There’s more than the first sentence. I absolutely own every aspect of my game and it shows you didn’t read my speech or the questions correctly and thoroughly.

In terms of what Jake said about the idol, I agree using an idol is not the sign of a good game. However, the way that I got Jake to give it to me and was able to use my relationship with Jake to time it perfectly and get the person I was targeting for the previous tribals out, meant that I turned my rags into riches.

I mean Eoin, you act like you formed some great bond in the game that you manipulated someone into using an idol. We were like best friends coming into the game it was a no brainer I was going to use an idol on my friend who desperatey needed it. I knew I would never need the idol for myself because I was mostly in control of everything.

I see on Survivor a lot people reward flashy plays, but I don’t care about flashy. I hope people reward the behind the scenes moves that made those flashy moves happen.

Your behind the scene gameplay was leaking stuff, to benefit me. If you want to admit it or not, I kept your name off the chopping block too, and there were several revolts made against you when my side had the numbers. Some of us had to continue playing the game when you went to Antartica with your advantage.

You were a rat in this game, you could have easily went to the finals with the likes of Oliver and Bender on this game, but you made your moves to benefit me and Joey, instead of yourself.

Every move I made in this game was for myself. I think you’re trying to craft a narrative to make the jury think I’m undeserving, but I expected this from you coming in. I’m 2/2 against you in FTC’s coming in so I expected you to focus all of your energy coming at me.

I think you both played well, but neither of you ever had the control that I had. I was in the majority at every single tribal and yes I chose to sit next to the people who I thought I had the best shot of beating.

Continue youe charade, though, maybe Oscar winner is a better title for you than Survivor winner.

I’m going to stick to answering questions about my game and I guess you can also continue answering questions about my game.

That's fine Jake, I too will finish after this, as I think it's extremely childish and immature on your part to try and close things down after hurling insults.

The question asked was about YOUR GAME, why would I ignore it? Try and think more logically about things, instead of popping off. This is the second time, it's been clear in this final tribal you've either not read things correctly or have a lack of understanding.

Past games have little to do with this game, so there's no relevance in bringing them up. We've all lost and won game series's here, that the others have won. You didn't have control all the time, you wanted my side to target Oliver instead of Akshay, but I cited that it was not a good move, as did Joey, Joey and I had a closer relationship with each other than we did with you so always were aware of what you were doing. And I know Joey will back me up on that one.

I think it's easy to say that you've did all these moves, but as I say, it all lies in leaking information rather than getting the job done.

My game differed in that you can trace so many moves back to me and even the moves you made benefited me, I think you thought you had more control that you did when in reality Joey and I would speak more about things than we would to you. My side, ran the later half of the game, if the game went your way we would have a completely different boot order. But at the end of the day, the boot order was how I decided it to be.

Now, as you say, I've had a chance to defend myself now, so I hope we can go back to the jury questioning.

I think the jurors know what happened in the game and can see through the desperate narrative you’re trying to craft at FTC to attack me when it’s not true.

Jake, if I am asked a question, I will answer with the truth. I think your argument speaks volumes, when your evidence is bringing up past games...
