Let me explain how this award is decided because the nature of it has shifted throughout my series. This award is NOT necessarily for the best player. If it was, then the winner of the season would win it every time. This is not necessarily for the biggest character or the most visible player either. This is for the person who I believe made the biggest contribution to the season and genuinely elevated the gameplay of the season in general.

for me it had to do with the fact that you were the corvo who was least inclined to work with  your other tribemates and instead you gave flores a fighting chance. i know it's kind of a stretch but it's always a lot harder to find heroes than villains in group games
