As you can see not only does my gem's color appears to be mostly black but there is still a glisten to it. Some different color stripes and you see that shine don't you. It's interesting and unique. This gem inspires the photo I give for you today.

The gemstone I got was Jade. For this photo I didn't really want to rely on only the color I wanted to base my photo on the meaning of the gem.

The color of the gem is in the photo but I think this represents Jade because lily is sweet, light, also pure. These words are the meaning of the gem jade.

For this shot I wanted to represent a pearl emerging from an oyster, and pearls' sea-origins, hence the watered tone of the photo. This photo represents the purity of the pearl gemstone in that sense.

Gigi - Aquamarine

I know of aquamarine being of peace and serenity as well as other things too like wisdom but I followed the serene, calmness of the gemstone

Even though we commonly think of sapphires as a stone with a saturated, deep blue colour, sapphires also can be colorless. So I try to be colorless this time

In this photo, I want to represent the meaning of Sapphire which is strength (strength to tell us to dream loud), wisdom (ask us to never let our dream just be a dream), and also for a quest to increase one’s faith, hope and joy (by asking us to dream loud).

An Opal is full of color and strange, mysterious. In this photo I have decided to use lighting to use the colour of an opal. Im also looking very mysterious with all the colors around me.

The amethyst stone was believed by the Greeks to keep the owner from getting drunk and staying focused. So I chose a photo of Laith that reminds me of the word focus while also incorporating the color purple

LABRADORITE

Labradorite (also called Spectrolite sometimes) is considered by mystics to be a stone of transformation and magic. It is said to clear, balance and protect the aura, as well as being an excellent stone for general protection. It is purported to help provide clarity and insight into your destiny, as well as attract success.

INTERPRETATION:

Transformation and Magic - In this photo, the hair represents my transformation. You can imagine a girl transforming into a woman by the motion of my hair in the photo. The green light represents the magic. The green light gives the illusion of a power bestowed upon me to transform from a simple girl to a successful woman.

General Protection - In this photo, you can see how strong of a woman I am by looking at my stance and posture. You can see in my eyes the passion and the desire. With passion comes great desire to protect what's mine. I'm a conqueror in this photo.

Success - In this photo, the clothes and accessories define the word "success'. The photo radiates a "success" vibe.

ONE LINE:

This photo shows a simple girl who transformed into a successful woman, a woman who is ready to protect and conquer the world.

The Ruby is one of the hardest gems to represent but also Ruby comes from the Latin word ruber which means red. I think I represent the brightness of a Ruby in my photo.

MY COMMENTS:

Lucky - This was provably a great advantage for you, as you know you have delivered it once again. The intensity, is there. And yes, you are correct there's this shine when you see this photo. One thing though, is that Onyx is a good stone for releasing negative emotions.

Lily - On the other hand, Jade stone symbolizes purity, and when I saw this picture, that's what I've seen. With a sweet face like you, it wouldn't be much hard to portray something like this, so definitely you've pulled it through, abother properties is loving which I am also seeing, so I believe you have done a wonderful job.

Elva - This pretty much just like Jade stone, symbolizes purity and innocence. And sure I know you've done both, this photo truly is just exceptional, no doubt about that. You really did a great job as a pearl, because you really look like a gemstone in this photo, and what you have said, emerging from an oyster.

Gigi - Aquamarine is one sparkling ocean-like color. Basically, another purity, transparency, and hell this one is just truly outstanding shot, by far my favorite shot of yours. The photo is very calming, and thus Aquamarine is really - A stone of serenity, and you've captured that.

Spencer - Sapphires are just positively brilliant, thus it really brings good vibes, and that's what I see in this photo, fun. Was it your best photo? No. Was it the worst? Also, no. I am seeing your improvements, and this is one of them. Congratulations.

Francisco - This screams, power. Which is one of the metaphysical pf an opal, its inner fire. For me, Opal is somehow the hardest gemstone to portray, as it has many properties, not jus that, but many colors. It exemplifies power, mental clarity, creativity, and you've captured all that. You did a pretty fine job.

Nicole - I would have wanted, and much more excited if you have picked the real Amber, the orange one, but the rareness of blue amber really does will attract ypu. For the photo, I think you could have done better, a blue amber is a stone of positivity and joy, but I need more of it, more joy.

Laith - This photo screams impatience which really is what amethyst gemstone really is. Photo wise, I wish it had more purple to it, but gemstone though is a sobriety stone whixh you also captured in the photo.

Sui - Labradorite, fierce, power, success - three words I can say in this photo. This is a very close interpretation of a Labradorite, probably is one hard gemstone to portray: but you've captured the stone very well, this photo is really near perfection.

Sean - Ruby, is one of the four precious gemstone, I would have love to had more explanation to it to better understand your photo, but this one is a great photo. But since you've submitted late, your challenge score would be deducted by 2 points.
