01) East 17 - kind of a depression era song right now… I don't think this song is like delivered perfectly but all the notes together sound kinda cute and calm to me. I appreciate that
02) Sugababes - this is a lot of fun and really does make me want to get sexy right now… I have heard this beat a thousand times before but it's fine in my eyes
03) The Chainsmokers - ugghghghghghgh my least favorite chainsmokers song and one of my lesser fave songs of all time… I see some appeal in this but don't think it deserves its massive banger status or whatever. Halsey and the chainsmokers alone are each unbearable so when they get together naturally it's annoying as fuck for me. Sorry!!
04) Mark Ronson - it's a classic and far outlived its annoying overplayingness… now when this comes on in the club it would be fun if anything, just pure fun. And we need that, all of us
05) Mariah Carey, Jay-Z - another beautiful classic… give me your love, give me your love, give me your love, over and over again is just so special to me. Even Jay-Z has a lot of fun with his verse.
06) Girls' Generation - this song is really cute of course, and it actually sounds like it would be some cheerleader routine so the music video is perfect for it. It wasn't a smash or anything but I thought it was all tied together with a nice bow
07) Outkast - outkast always has bops. I admit I never dove into their discography because they're better in small doses but this is solid and I'd like play it at a party
08) Cascada - funny how all their songs kinda sound the same, like this opens the exact same way everytime we touch does down to the chord progression and everything but like the chorus hits and you ignore all of that and you just have fun… yea I'll be ur bad boy babe <3
