- Stops by Jake's office and knocks lightly on the door, poking my head in -

No come in. Make yourself at home! Oh god am I getting a raise?

- Walks in and takes a seat in one of the chairs, laughing a little -
     I hadn't thought about it, but now that you bring it up........ Maybe. You seem to be working your ass off here. At the risk of sounding offensive, why are you striving so hard? I've never seen you put this much effort into anything. Like ever.

I'm 24, I can't be working at a bar or living off my parents my whole life. Plus with my dad being the mayor, its a bad rep if I'm working so bartending job. And child support doesn't come cheap!

*Looks at him*
So if you're not here to give me a raise...
*Narrows my eyes at him*
Oh my god am I getting fired

*finishes my breakfast and heads to gym
*walks in gym with earbuds in and starts stretching

- Looks at him with wide eyes and shakes my head -
     No! Dear god no. I'm actually not here to talk about your position in this business, this isn't work related. I promise.

-Heads into the kitchen in her pyjamas and pours herself a glass of white milk-

*finishes stretching and gets on the treadmill
